My name is Andrew Dexter and welcome to my blog! Here, I share current happenings from the interesting mix of teaching roles and art projects I am involved in.  Journal entries about my experiences as a permanent substitute teacher in a middle school will also be highlighted.  In addition, I am an oil painter, graphic designer, illustrator and sign painter. These gigs give birth to samples, stories about interpersonal interactions.

It is great to be completely absorbed in jobs I love, which don’t even feel like jobs. Each job, which is rich with interpersonal activity and creativity, seem to relate to one another.

My passion is to be an art teacher, and all of my past and current experiences prepare me for a career that is challenging, complex, tough to enter, and completely perfect for me.
